OTHER INFO

Casa Redonda accesses one of the last remote, virtually unexplored wilderness in the Caribbean.  The Caribbean to the east and Laguna Santa Rosa to the west, Ascension Bay to the north, Espiritu Santo Bay to the south, Casa Redonda Suites is located in the heart of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve.  The area is a sprawling collection of clear saltwater flats, crystalline mangrove shorelines, secluded lagoons, and scattered mangrove islands.  This area provides the very best saltwater flats fly fishing for bonefish, permit & tarpon, in the world.  There is no better location from which to fish the Yucatan.

Casa Redonda Suites makes every effort to leave the smallest footprint as possible.  All buildings are powered by a state of the art solar system and the water is purified using a sophisticated reverse osmosis filtration system.  They do have a petrol powered generator on hand for those rare occasions the sun does not provide the energy needed to provide a comfortable guest experience.

Located in the heart of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve in the Yucatan, Casa Redonda Suites is priveledged to be able to offer access to ancient mayan ruins once unaccessible to visitors, Chac Mool & Tupac.

A perfect example of a true Eco Adventure destination, Casa Redonda Suites works hand in hand with locals and conservationists to help eliminate destructive practices such as gill netting and overfishing in Espiritu Santo Bay & Laguna Santa Rosa.  The great thing about their efforts, they can truly say that the natural surroundings improve every year.
