In southwestern Argentine there is an area of extreme beauty and tranquility. High Mountains and Lakes surrounded by native forest, so unique that it is like being in a land and another World of your very own.
Pristine waters throughout the area will enable you to enjoy the excitement of fishing, rainbow, brown, and brook trout. You will also find sometimes species like the salmon Salar Sebago.
This fishing paradise is situated in the southwestern part of the Argentine Patagonia and is located on the Meliquina River.
The Meliquina River begins and flows from the southern most shore of the Meliquina Lake. The river is located only 30 miles from the lovely resort town of San Martín de los Andes, a unique village surrounded by mountains and streams with only 27,000 inhabitants.
